These events have not only expanded my knowledge but have also given me the platform to discuss critical topics with experts from around the globe.

Engaging with Global Challenges and Innovations
From homeland security to geospatial advancements, each conference I attended offered a unique perspective. In the UAE and Israel, I participated in discussions on homeland security, exploring how technology can enhance safety in diverse environments. At GeoWeek in Denver, I delved into the latest geospatial innovations that are shaping industries worldwide.

Addressing climate change was a key focus at ICOLD in Sweden, where I engaged with experts on how large dams are impacted by evolving environmental conditions. In Cologne, Germany, I explored the rise of IoT in the rail industry, discussing how connectivity is revolutionizing transport infrastructure.

Water Management and Sustainability
Water conservation was another crucial topic during my journey. At Pollutec in Lyon and in Bari, Italy, I tackled the issue of Non-Revenue Water, discussing sustainable water management strategies. Additionally, at the RailTech event in Utrecht, Netherlands, I examined innovations that are transforming rail transport.

Building Connections and Sharing Knowledge
Meeting French diplomats in Tel Aviv was a highlight, fostering collaboration between technological innovation and diplomacy. In the UK, at the EarthWorks Management conference, and in Marseille at GeoTech, I gained deeper insights into infrastructure monitoring and sustainable practices.

Each conference has enriched my professional journey, allowing me to bring back innovative ideas and best practices to my work. I am grateful for these experiences and look forward to future opportunities to share knowledge and learn from global experts.
Collecting Voice of Customers (VOC)
An essential part of my work is listening to customers and understanding their challenges firsthand.
Traveling to various locations around the world has given me the opportunity to do just that.
In Medellin, Colombia, and Ostersund, Sweden, I visited dams to discuss maintenance and safety issues with local teams.
In Strasbourg, France, I assessed highway conditions and gathered feedback on road infrastructure challenges.
I also visited Padova, Italy, to work on leak detection projects, learning directly from operators about their on-the-ground experiences.
These experiences not only allowed me to connect with customers but also to gather valuable insights to improve our solutions. Understanding the real-world applications and challenges faced by our clients is key to driving meaningful innovation.

Price of Environment
I’m proud to have played a key role in the collaboration between ASTERRA and a major highway company on the Environment Prize. Since 2020, this competition has celebrated innovative field projects, all aimed at reducing environmental impact.

Our work on the motorway in Strasbourg is a perfect example of how innovation and collaboration can make a difference. By mapping subsurface soil moisture, ASTERRA detected early issues, helping to prevent costly repairs and enhance infrastructure resilience.

I’m particularly proud of creating the video from scratch, showcasing how ASTERRA and partners are driving sustainability forward.
